How Surplus Funds Recovery Works

If you have landed on our website, it's likely that one of our team members has already been in touch with you regarding money that you are eligible to receive.

After our team member has fully informed you about the process of recovering funds and addressed any queries you might have, we'll arrange a meeting for you with a mobile notary. This step ensures that you can sign the necessary documents in a safe and secure manner, enabling us to commence the claim procedure.

By doing this, you authorize us to represent you in dealings with the agency holding your funds.

Upon receipt of the notarized documents, and after our attorney confirms your identity and your entitlement to the funds with the holding agency, we will initiate the issuance of a check to you for a portion of your unclaimed funds. This process will be in progress while the claims procedure is being completed.

This step also serves as your authorization for us to act on your behalf in interactions with the office holding the funds.

Following the release of the funds by the courts, the attorney managing your case will either send your check via overnight delivery, or you can choose to collect it personally.
